Stunning Russian Santa in rich gold and midnight blue, carrying a beautifully carved Christmas tree with an owl. Santa has a wonderful face and blue eyes to match to tones in his frosted coat. This Russian Santa Claus made is hand carved from solid linden, also known as either basswood or lime. Once carved and sanded the Santa is artistically embellished, hand painted and finished in extraordinary detail with numerous coats and finally signed or initialed by the artist.
