Santa Claus of Good Fortune by Barbara Scoles

A beautifully decorated Santa carving with a lot of meaning and spirituality. He's meticulously painted in red and green tones on a natural wood base with accents of black and gold with even a little jade on the hat. Piercing blue eyes, a warm expression and flowing white beard are accented perfectly. The black box is painted with a phoenix, legendary symbol of virtue, grace, luck and happiness. The dragons, among other things, are a symbol of power, strength and good luck for those worthy of it. The crane has been a symbol of happiness and eternal youth. In much of Asia cranes stand for good fortune and longevity because of its fabled life span of a thousand years. All in all, this is truly a Santa of good fortune. A one of a kind wooden Santa Claus figure designed, carved, painted and signed by Barbara Scoles.
