Elegant Gold Russian Santa with Winter Deer Scene

Beautiful wintery Russian Santa trimmed in gold, holding a lantern and bird, and a adorned with a scene of deer on the front. This Russian Santa Claus made is hand carved from solid linden, also known as either basswood or lime. Once carved and sanded the Santa is artistically embellished, hand painted and finished in extraordinary detail with numerous coats and finally signed or initialed by the artist.
