At first glance one might not catch the theme and story behind this wonderful Santa carving, however after enjoying all sides the picture becomes quite clear. Goldilocks is being held in Santa's arms while Papa and Baby bear play with a candy cane. There is a Christmas tree carved into one side of Santa and a fireplace with three stockings on his other side. And on the back Mama bear sits in her rocker and holds a present. Santa is mostly colored in his natural wood grain with white trim and red hat and undergarment. He has a perfect face, eyes and flowing white beard. A one of a kind wooden Santa Claus figure designed, carved, painted and signed by Barbara Scoles.
