Iridescent Father Frost with Christmas Tree

A highly detailed and extremely unique Russian Santa carving, elegantly painted and detailed with masterful precision and technique. The Christmas tree, measuring 16" in length, and Santa's coat boast in iridescent glow with so many detailed layers of design with gold and pearl accents capture and reflect the light from any angle. The carving has life-like depth surrounding Santa's beard and face, the flow of his coat and individual branches of the Christmas tree. We have not seen a Russian Santa carving such as this piece in the last 20 years. One of a kind hand carved and hand painted, solid wood Santa sculpture signed by the artist, Rasskazova. The staff and tree stem (trunk) are separate carvings and removable for safe shipping and storage. The Santa and Tree are carved from one solid piece of wood. Museum quality.
