The Russian Christmas man, truly. All Christmas colors with green and red with accents of gold and delicate white snowflakes. Santa carries a staff and toybag and has a beautiful face and eyes. This is a very thick and solid wood carving. He's hand carved from solid linden, sanded, hand painted and finished in extraordinary detail with numerous coats and finally signed or initialed by the artist. At times we will request an artist to make several of a specific Santa design. Since they are still hand crafted one at a time there may be very subtle variations in the carving or painting.
