Santa in Tropical Paradise with Surf Board

Santa knows where to go in the off season. In this scene he is standing in front of a palm tree holding onto his surfboard and has his toy bag with a decorative fish. All wood pieces are attached and pegged together. This Russian Santa Claus figure is hand carved from solid linden, also known as either basswood or lime. Once carved and sanded the Santa is hand painted and finished in extraordinary detail with numerous coats and then signed by the artist.
