The Happiest Snowman - Russian Santa Claus

Santa and Happy Snowman. Santa carries a large toybag over his shoulder, packed with several ornately decorated and exposed gifts. A little snowman figure is happy to go along for the ride while Santa makes his deliveries. Richly decorated from head to toe with raised gold accents this carving is large and very solid standing over 14 inches tall and 7 inches in diameter. This Russian Santa Claus is hand carved from solid linden, also known as either basswood or lime. Once carved and sanded the Santa is meticulously hand painted and finished in extraordinary detail with numerous coats and finally signed or initialed by the artist.
