A beautiful wood tone Santa carving in a unique and stylish Latin American theme. Santa's coat is decorated with relief carved and colorfully painted poinsettias. The colors and layers around the shoulders and throughout this piece are of the Panamanian mola, primarily blue, red and yellow. Santa holds a colorful parrot in one hand and an elaborately carved and decorated peasant doll in the other. His leather brimmed (natural wood tone) Santa hat accents his wonderful face and eyes. A one of a kind wooden Santa designed, carved, painted and signed by Barbara Scoles.
